Whirlpool Galaxy (also known as Messier 51a, M51a, or NGC 5194)
Location: approx. 23 million light-years in the constellation Canes Venatici
Right ascension: 13h 29m 52.7s
Declination: +47° 11′ 43″
Apparent dimension:11′.2 × 6′.9
Discovered: Charles Messier on October 13, 1773.
Nick: Spiral galaxy
Fusion: Large sources of gravitation pull from nearby passing galaxies interact producing compression waves sweeps through hydrogen clouds causing diffuse gas to compress into tight pockets of opaque and dense gas, these dust lanes are seen as spiral arms. In regions where the concentration and density of gas reaches a critical value, further collapse under its own gravitational pull occurs, and stars are born at the center of the collapse.
In the X-core structure, the nucleus of M51 there are two dust rings around the black hole. Can you see what shape it forms? ....
Ecc 3:11
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Psalms 147:4,5
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
Psalms 8:3,4
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
29Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
The universe is immeasurable to man but the universe is finite in Gods finger tips. He created everything from the stars, moons and planets of the sky night to the small oxygen molecules we breathe. There are many things that we will not understand, we will not be able to fathom but what God wants us to know is his with us... He is the creator, he is the author and writer of life. He created everything. He has been there since the beginning of time, the alpha and omega (Rev 22:13). When comparing the universe to ourselves in size, we may feel very small and insignificant. However in God's eyes we are the most important people, we are his apple in his eyes. He love us so much that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ to relate to us in form of man and to die for us on the cross. So that we may have relationship with our father in heaven. He loves you and believe it or not, God knew you before you were even born.
