Old Testament Tithing

An offering known as tithing, is a percentage/portion of our earnings given to God out of obedience and thanks giving. The word "tithe" is an Old English word meaning "tenth."

Passage Leviticus 27:32:
32 The entire tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd's rod—will be holy to the LORD.
